Vishnu Manchu took a break from films after consecutive failures. His previous films in early 2018, Gayatri and Achari America Yatra failed at the box office. Moreover, his next film, Voter, has been in post-production and the team has not disclosed the current status of the project. He was silent about his projects and limited his public appearances in recent times. According to the latest reports, Vishnu Manchu has been residing in the USA and signed a Hollywood project. A USA-based director will handle the project which will be made on Vishnu’s home banner in association with a Hollywood studio. At present, he is busy with the pre-production work of the project.
Vishnu Manchu heard the script for the Hollywood project around 2 years ago but the project was delayed due to several reasons. It is based on a call center scam with the story revolving around a US-based company and its Indian subsidiary. Apart from this, he is also working on other projects including the prestigious Kannappa. The veteran actor and writer, Tanikella Bharani, has written the Kannappa script. The project has some Hollywood technicians working on it. Vishnu has plans to make it on a large canvas. It’s a big leap for Vishnu and this decision could make or break his career.
