Vijay Deverakonda has been in the News for several reasons since Arjun Reddy. He has been taking a share in profits for many of his films apart from the remuneration. After the phenomenal success of ‘Geetha Govindam’, he decided to venture into production and started his own production house, King of the Hill.
As a part of the promotions of his upcoming film, ‘NOTA’, a public meet was held in Hyderabad. Vijay Deverakonda announced his production house, ‘The King of the Hill’, and unveiled the teaser. He said that the production house is meant for great things and he wanted the films to be made in multiple languages. Vijay thanked the producer of NOTA, ‘Gnanavel Raja’, for allowing him to make the announcement and to take part in the production of the film. He asked his fans to show their appreciation in theaters when the title card of the production house is displayed during the screening of NOTA.
Vijay Deverakonda responded to the controversy surrounding NOTA. He said that a few people have filed cases and affidavits to stall the release of NOTA and alleged that the film is favoring a political party in Telangana, if those people have approached him, he would have told them the truth. He added that the film, NOTA, has nothing to do with political parties but it will influence the voters to take the right decision.
NOTA features Vijay Deverakonda and Mehreen Pirzada in lead roles. The film is releasing worldwide on 5th Oct 2018, simultaneously in Tamil and Telugu.
