Venkatesh and Naga Chaitanya teamed up for the multi-starrer, Venky Mama. The film was released 2 weeks ago and still has steady collections. The fans and family audience loved the film and it opened to a blockbuster weekend with over half of the budget recovered within the first weekend itself. However, the collections slowed down during the weekdays, and several other films were released during the holiday season. As most other films opened to negative talk, Venky Mama emerged as a profitable venture for its makers.

Venky Mama has a pre-release business of nearly 36 Crores and the makers released the film themselves in most areas. Except for Prathi Roju Pandage, all other weekend releases disappointed the audience. Venky Mama has decent collections on Christmas and the film break-even in almost all areas of Telugu states. After this weekend, the film is expected to fetch profits until Sankranthi as there are no big releases in-between. Raashi Khanna and Payal Rajput played female leads in the film. Suresh Babu and TG Vishwa Prasad jointly produced the film.
