Tanish turned from Child artist to hero at a young age. Although he had success in the initial stage, he faced a string of flops subsequently. He is currently struggling with his film career. He will be seen in the role of a slain Vijayawada rowdy sheeter Lara in his upcoming film, Rangu.
The journalist turned filmmaker, Karthikeya V, researched for a year and took another 3 years to complete the script. Pawan Kumar alias Lara is a school topper and talented left-handed batsman. He got the moniker, Lara, after the West Indies cricketer, Brian Lara. During his intermediate, Lara fought with a person over a girl, which soon escalated into a group rivalry. When a person in the rival group was accidentally killed, Lara went to the police station to surrender but he is so terrified to face the cops that he waited outside the station for an hour and a half. But the 3 months he spent in jail transformed him into a rowdy sheeter. Lara was brutally murdered by his rivals in 2009.
Paruchuri brothers have penned the dialogues for the film and 15 people who personally knew Lara are playing themselves in the film. The film’s theatrical trailer was unveiled recently and it carries the intensity required for the script. Padmanabha Reddy, Nalla Ayyanna Naidu, and Katakam Vasu have produced the film under U & I Creations banner. Tanish has recently participated in Bigg Boss Telugu season 2 and is in limelight these days. It is to be seen if the fame he attained through Bigg Boss helps the movie.
