Sonu Sood shot to fame in Tollywood with his role in Akkineni Nagarjuna’s Super. Arundhathi made him the most sought-after antagonist in Telugu films. He has been a busy actor until Aagadu in 2014. Later, he restricted himself to dubbed releases. This year, he played the antagonist in Bellamkonda Sai Srinivas and Kajal Aggarwal starrer Sita. This is the only straight Telugu film for him in the last 5 years. Now the latest we hear is that he is returning to Tollywood again for a crucial role in the yet-untitled Bellamkonda Sai Srinivas film.
Kandireega and Rabhasa fame Santosh Srinivas will direct the movie and iSmart actress Nabha Natesh will play the female lead in it. This is the first collaboration of Bellamkonda Sai Sreenivas and Nabha Natesh. As per the reports, Santosh Srinivas worked for several years on the script and developed a unique character which impressed Sonu Sood to sign the film as the antagonist. Earlier, Sonu Sood played a key role in Santosh Srinivas’s debut film Kandireega. Now the duo is teaming up again for an action entertainer. Sita couldn’t bring his glory back and the actor is relying on this project to make him popular again. G Subrahmanyam is bankrolling the project.
