Prabhas and Rana are very close to the family of Rajamouli as they’ve worked for several years in the Baahubali series together. SS Rajamouli has been promoting the debut film of MM Keeravani’s son, Sri Simha, titled Mathu Vadalara. The word of mouth, positive reviews, and the appreciation of celebrities helped the film pick up slowly and create buzz. Now the latest update is that the Baahubali stars, Prabhas and Rana, watched the film and appreciated the film’s team.
Prabhas individually talked to the cast & crew of the film appreciating their work. As per the reports, he is impressed with the comedy timing of Satya. Rana tweeted in appreciation after watching the film. He praised the director Ritesh Rana for the output. Mathu Vadalara is an intense genre film without the heroine, romance, or songs. The film starts as a buddy comedy, then changes into a crime comedy, and eventually transforms into a whodunnit film. The film had crisp pacing but it slows down when the genre transforms. The style of the film is distinct from regular commercial films as it effectively uses slow shots, smash cuts, revealing characters using objects instead of dialogue, dramatic lighting, action synchronized to sound effects, a subplot in a TV serial, etc. The film had a limited release and is now getting more theaters as it receives a lot of praise from audiences. The director Ritesh Rana announced that the makers will release a special chit-chat video of Prabhas talking to the Mathu Vadalara team.
