Although not yet officially announced by the team, the close sources confirm that Kajal Aggarwal to romance Kamal Haasan in the Bharateeyudu sequel. Bharateeyudu 2 (Indian 2) will be the most anticipated film considering the buzz the first part created. Moreover, Bharateeyudu (1996) was the costliest Indian film of its time and has impressed the audience all over the country.
Earlier there have been speculations about Kajal Aggarwal reprising the role but now it has been confirmed. Kajal Aggarwal considers Kamal Haasan as one of her inspirations to become an actress. And she has been waiting for an opportunity to work with Shankar since her early career. She is more than happy to work with them both on a single project which is a sequel to the classic.
