It is said that young director Prashanth Varma, who has good critical reception for his debut film ‘Awe’, has approached Anjali to play a prominent role in his next film featuring Dr. Rajasekhar in the lead role. She is impressed with the script and is likely to join the team. Her role in the film is yet suspense.
Senior actor Rajasekhar has his career rejuvenated with the film Garuda Vega last year. After a long time, he finally signed a film with an interesting premise. The project was officially announced recently on the eve of Megastar Chiranjeevi’s birthday. The film is titled Kalki, which is going to be an investigative thriller and Rajasekhar will be seen as a police officer investigating a murder. Kalki is a period drama set in 1983 according to the official announcement from the team. The motion poster released today raised the expectations of the film.
