Hrithik Roshan delivered two back-to-back hits, Super 30 and War, this year. He is among a few actors who prefer quality over quantity. He sometimes waits several years to find a script that interests him. Although his father, Rakesh Roshan, is a producer, Hrithik wants to start a separate production house to encourage content-driven films. However, he may not act in them or just do a cameo. He is reading a lot of scripts along with his team and wants to produce films that leave an impact on the audience. He is likely to make an announcement when things fall in place.
The long gaps between his films are due to the lack of good scripts in Bollywood. Hrithik always likes to find scripts that are either exciting or challenging. After Kaabil, he waited for an action drama but could only find Super 30 before War came his way. While talking about his career, he said that he has been in the industry for 20 years and has no regrets about anything. He added that the quality of scripts matters to him more than the number of films he does in a year. Apart from him, several other producers are trying to produce content-based films which turned out to be the newfound love of Bollywood audiences.
