Srikanth Addala announced his next project after a hiatus. It is titled Kuchipudi Vari Veedhi and Geetha Arts will bankroll the project. He completed scripting for the film. The casting is in progress and the project may launch anytime soon. Apart from that, he is writing a script for a multi-starrer featuring Venkatesh and Kamal Haasan in lead roles. Although he doesn’t have any interest in politics, he expressed his desire to do something for his native village.
Srikanth Addala shot to fame within a short time with his unique storytelling. Audiences and critics appreciated his first two films, Kotha Bangaru Lokam and Seethamma Vaakitlo Sirimalle Chettu. His third film, Mukunda, was a disappointment but it didn’t affect his reputation. However, his fourth film, Brahmotsavam, remained a nightmare for the cast and crew. Mahesh Babu received criticism for choosing such a half-baked script and Srikanth Addala almost vanished from Tollywood. Brahmotsavam tarnished Srikanth Addala’s image and made his career questionable. He has to prove his talent with his next film as the actors and producers have lost trust in him. At present, we couldn’t expect a star cast for his films but he may attain his past glory if he comes up with a better script.
